Just like a real folk festival, but without all the sweaty people and the overpriced vegetarian food.

Guitarists

Bruce Cockburn:  Remarkable finger-style guitarist who's primarily known as a folk/rock singer/songwriter.  But, when I've seen him live, I've been blown away by his ability to make the guitar do amazing things.

Chris Dunnett:  Cincinnati flamenco-style guitarist

Neil Jacobs:  Columbus gypsy-style and 12-string guitarist

Phil Keaggy:  One of the most remarkable guitarists I've ever seen.  He can play anything, from ripping rock and roll to quiet folk.  Has put out half a dozen great albums of instrumental guitar music in addition to a prolific career singing Christian pop.

Leo Kottke: Great folk guitarist with a remarkable, dry humor

Oscar Lopez:  Now a Juno-award winner in Canada, Chilean-born Oscar Lopez plays a wicked Latin guitar

Al Petteway:  Celtic-influenced acoustic guitarist from the Washington, DC area

Brooks Williams:  Probably better-known as a singer/songwriter, Brooks is a remarkable guitarist who always includes a few instrumentals on each of his albums.

Fiddlers:

Melinda Crawford: US National Scottish Fiddle Champion, currently residing in Columbus, Ohio and attending Ohio State University.

Eileen Ivers: Best known as the fiddler for Riverdance, Ivers has recorded numerous solo CDs.  Her current project is a Celtic/worldbeat fusion group with backing band Immigrant Soul

Natalie MacMaster: One of the best-known of the fiddlers to come out of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada

Bonnie Rideout: specializes in Scottish fiddle.

April Verch: young Canadian fiddler.
